Suzanne
Suzanne is a devoted mother and daughter; her 30-year old special needs son and 85-year old mother are the cornerstones of her daily life (along with 2 dogs that love that every day is come to work day on Cape Cod). She has lived in different parts of the U.S. and Europe and has a diverse professional history in high-tech, business consulting, and property management.
Denise
Denise previously worked for us on a full-time basis, but she opened up a local retail store of her own and now works only part-time for us. Denise worked previously for a major Silicon Valley law firm handling international patent issues for 13 years; first in their San Jose office and then in their Palo Alto office, but as a longtime resident of Gilroy, she finally decided that the commute was just too much for her. She happily joined the Law Offices of James Ward and learned a new set of skills working as support for Jim and having a lot of face to face contact with our clients. She’s happy with the change and readily agrees that the face to face contact with clients is better than her previous work with clients that was almost exclusively via email and phone.
Michelle
Michelle has ten years of experience working with elders who have moderate to severe Alzheimer’s disease, so she brings a lot of compassion, empathy, and experience to the firm. Besides running her daughter all over the place for school, sports, church, and special classes, she also helps with lots of different projects at the office. The entire staff knows that it takes a lot to keep Jim in line, and that’s a daily focus for Michelle - – – She’s Jim’s wife!
